The sporting teams of North Carolina State University are known as the NC State Wolfpack. Since the 1953–54 season, the Wolfpack has competed in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I (Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) for college football) as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) for all sports.
